One of the most important priorities, when our coalition was created, has been to establish territorial planning of the provincial territory aimed at adequate management of natural resources, thinking about ecotourism as one of the most important pillars of the development of our communities.

As of October 2012, of the three Territorial Planning Plans (one for each district), prepared with funds from CONADES, and with extensive participation from Alianza Bocas, this is the current situation: the Territorial Planning Plan of the District of Chiriquí Grande already It has been approved at the level of the Municipal Council of that region, while the other two, that of Bocas del Toro and that of Changuinola, have been awaiting approval by the corresponding Municipal Council.

However, after several years, this project has not been approved by local authorities despite its excellence and necessity.
